Welcome to our new website!

In addition to the traditional shooting sport, the archery division with its more than 70 members is one of the pillars of our association.

The origin of the archery department dates back to 1972, so in brief we will 50th anniversary allowed to celebrate.

The first provisional shooting lanes on the green field were soon followed by a stately archery range and later also a 3D course in the club's own forest. Thanks to the sports promotion of the city of Hechingen, a sports hall has been reliably available to us for the winter months for years. Ideal conditions to make archery attractive for our members.

With us archery is possible for everyone from the age of 9 years. Schoolchildren to seniors can shoot different types of bows, such as primitive bows, longbows, traditional recurve, Olympic recurve or compound bows, to name just a few.

With us you can learn archery under expert guidance and practice it as a leisure sport or competitively.

Due to our traditional membership in the Württemberg Shooting Association (WSV1850), we shoot according to the rules of the World Archery Association (WA) and the German Shooting Association (DSB). Due to the diversity of archery, tournaments organized by the International Field Archery Association (IFAA) and the German Field Archery Association (DFBV) are becoming increasingly popular with our members.
